These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Beau — Dog Companion, an iOS application operated by Dakota Labs LLC ("Dakota Labs," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading or using Beau, you agree to these Terms.
Beau is a dog care companion app — not a veterinary service. Nothing in this app constitutes medical, veterinary, or professional advice. Always consult a qualified veterinarian for your dog's health needs.
Beau is a dog companion iOS app that helps you track your dog's daily activities and care routines. You can log events such as potty breaks, feedings, walks, sleep, training sessions, medications, vet visits, and milestones. Beau stores your data locally on your device and optionally syncs it across your devices via iCloud.
Beau is intended for users 13 years of age or older. By using Beau, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Subscriptions are managed entirely by Apple through the App Store:
Refunds. All subscription refund requests are handled by Apple per their standard refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
All data you enter into Beau — dog profiles, event logs, photos, and notes — belongs to you. Your data is stored on your device and, if iCloud is enabled, in your personal iCloud account. Dakota Labs does not access, own, or claim any rights to your content.
You are solely responsible for the data you enter into Beau and for maintaining backups of any data that is important to you.

Beau is a tracking and organizational tool. It does not provide medical, veterinary, dietary, or professional advice of any kind. Reminder notifications (e.g., feeding or potty break reminders) are based solely on time intervals you configure — they are not medical recommendations.
Always consult a licensed veterinarian for questions about your dog's health, diet, medication, or medical conditions. Do not rely on Beau as a substitute for professional veterinary care.
Beau is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no representations or warranties regarding the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of the app or its features. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of bugs.
We reserve the right to change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dakota Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Beau, including but not limited to damages arising from missed reminders, data loss, or reliance on information displayed in the app.
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid to Dakota Labs (via Apple) in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Beau is distributed through the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the app or its content. However, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms as a third-party beneficiary. Any questions about App Store purchases should be directed to Apple.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of Beau after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any disputes shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction.
